I wanted to relive some old school workouts at PT so that’s what we did. Everyone survived but not without some moaning and groaning. Heck I think I ever moaned some from my stupid ideas.

Cusack the rocks across the park to the basketball hoops for our main event.

Pax made two lines holding plank. Pax at front of each line shot with the first shot coming from the 3-point line and subsequent being a free for all. First to make the basket did 5x of that round’s exercise (merkins, squats, turkish getups) while the loser did 10x.

We wrapped up with each pax taking a halfcourt shot. Pax were advised that misses added 1 and makes took off 5. After 12 misses we did our 12x penalty burpees.

F.N.G.

YHC had all intentions of an earlier start to get some EC in with the boys before Mutiny. Alarm went off 0435 and I was awake but then sleep hit me again. Woke up again 0510…holy crap! Passed on taking the dog out and taking a dump, shot out the door and made it on time with 2 mins to spare. Did a little mumble chatter then got us started. Good to see Puddles visiting from Beaufort.

Warmed up with Red October
SSH x20
Cotton Pickers (done with proper form) x10
Mtn climbers x20
Goofballs x20
Then we split off. Once we got to the small hill I turned around and saw on 2 guys with me of which one was an FNG. I thought this might be bad for this guy. He had no clue was FNG stood for but kept saying it during the workout. I think he thought it was a curse word or something.

The Quay preview

YHC lead 6 men coming from all over the map in FV. We all met for a Tequila (early) Sunrise for a 5 mile route that included the start of Run the Quay that was starting shortly afterwards. Wild Turkey came running in at 0530 for some EC with YHC. Breach arrived by foot as well and the others made it before the 0600 start.

The Workout: Circle to with your rock and played survivor with a set of 5 exercises, 15 reps each, and a rotation sheet each exercise. Ruh rohs, curls, triceps extension, skull crushers, overhead press. The least favorite exercise (not PAX, that’s just hurtful) got voted off each round. Didn’t help that Fram choose a boulder.

Mary: Popcorn Mary with some upper body stretches.
Announcements: June challenge, lipstick meal train, run the Quay
