Warm Up: SSH till Emeril got to the circle because he was late. 5 burpeee penalty for Emeril being late, Lots of whining while Emeril tied his shoes in his car because he was late.
Mosey to soccer field, GM & Daisy Pickers I/C (Mission Statement), First PAX to DM me the word Backblast because they actually read the BB gets a 6 pack on me. Plank hold while core values were stated.

Absolutions! Oh My!

FNGs: Welcome Hardhat! Named because a TBI in high-school and that he works in construction project management.

Warm Up: Side-straddle hops, daisy pickers, and a few stretches while the F3 Mission Statement, Core Values, and the FNG disclaimer was recited. (Penalty burpees were assessed when the initially called upon PAX hesitated when asked to recite the mission statement)

The Workout:

Round one consisted of partnering up for a core themed DORA consisting of Absolutions x100, Plank Jacks x200, and LBCs x300 with the alternate partner running 100ish meters then swapping out. 

Round two was a BLIMPS blitz with the PAX lining up on one side of the tennis courts and completing ascending reps of Burpees, Lunges, Imperial Walkers, Merkins, Plank Jacks, and Squats then sprinting to the opposite side of the tennis court and repeating with an additional rep. Ascended through 7 sets.

6 years is a long time but not that long

So great to have 29 in the gloom this morning to help me celebrate 6 years with F3.  This group has changed my life and I hope to continue paying that forward.  It’s a whole lot more than a workout!!!

The Workout:  Cones were set up about 10 yards apart.  PAX performed the following exercises: 5 burpees, 10 lunges, 15 imperial walkers, 20 merkins, 25 plank jacks and 30 squats.  We went through the circuit 4 times traveling by bear crawl, lunge walk, broad jump and bunny hop.  Between sets mosey to the disc golf tee box and perform ab exercises to wait on the 6.

The Workout: Moseyed down the hill and took a right towards Optimist Farm Rd. Made our way to the River Rock pile and grabbed two rocks just small enough to grasp for exercises. Moseyed back to the greenway path and went about halfway up. This Q just realized the presence of another rock pile, conveniently placed right where we were going to execute our workout.

Overhead Press – 10x IC

Sprint to the top of the berm and perform 5 Star Jumps

Curls for the Girls – 10x Each Arm, Hold 1 at 90° and perform reps with other arm, rinse repeat

Round 4: Grab a new rock from recently discovered rock pile for squats, chest press and skull crushers

05.07.2024 The Nest 1:4 ratio

Warm-up: SSH, Sir Fazio Arm Circles (forward and back), Cherry Pickers, Good Mornings, Willie Mayes Hayes, Mosey Lap

Main Event: This morning was especially designed to get long reps of several exercises. At each corner of the block around the park we did a 1:4 ratio exercise except for the Berp & Merk station cause that would have really sucked.  Corner 1: Berp & Merk which was a burpee with the merkin portion of the burpee increasing each time.  Going to 10 so round 1 was a regular burpee, round 2 burpee with 2 merkins, round 3 burpee with 3 merkins etc.  Corner 2: Lt. Dan Taylors.  1:4 ratio of squats to lunges all the way up to 10 squats and 40 lunges.  The goal was to not be able to feel your legs at the end.  Corner 3: Jack Webb, ol’ jack made us do 1:4 merkins to air press up to 10 merkins and 40 air presses. Corner 4: Last but not least was Captain Thors.  These bad boys rounded out the morning with a 1:4 ratio of big boy sit-ups and American Hammers.  So up to 10 big boys and 40 American Hammers to feel that burn deep down inside.

COT: @Finkle’s brother and family during separation from wife and moving out etc. @Nemo loosing mom to cancer.  Prayers for him and the family during this tough time.  On going court case that @Enough is part of with NC State Health plan.

Sandbaggin Sum Beaches 6/26/23

FNGs: None but been EHing like mad.

Warm Up: SSH, Frankenstein, SFAC, Good Mornings, Imperial Walkers, Hillbillies

The Workout: Took 3 sandbags to the Tennis courts. Couldn’t drop them 1 burpee penalty for dropping. Corner 1 exercises: LBC, BTW, Reverse LBC, Corner 2: Std merkin, wide merkin, diamond merkin. Corner 3: Plank Jacks and 2 others I can’t remember. Corner 4: absolutions. Each time we went to a new corner we did: Reverse Guantanimo Sandy Bays, Walking BTW, Bear crawls, Crab Walks, Walking Willie Mays Hayes. All exercises were 16 reps except Absolutions.
