Warm Up: side straddle hops, arm circles forward and reverse, seal claps, overhead claps, arm stretches, good mornings.

The Workout: Mosey to the rock pile and grab a large rock. Circle up in the main parking lot to begin the 1st event.
My 4yr Q centers around time so we started with some clockwork using 4 different exercises. Started with 1 rep of each: curl for the girl, overhead press, ruh roh, and squat. Set down the rock, rotate, and do 2 of each. This continued through the 12 rounds of the clock for a total of 78 reps of each exercise.

Next up the calendar beatdown as follows, all with your original rock:

  • July 31 homer to marge in cadence
  • August 31 rock merkins right arm
  • September 30 American hammers in cadence
  • October 31 rock merkins left arm

The Workout:

After a quick count off to determine we had an evern number, PAX were directed to head over to the rock and pick a partner along the way.  Each pair was directed to pick a rock to share.  YHC suggested that the PAX go with a smaller rock as the workout was sure produce a lot of reps.  Most PAX heeded the warning, but there is always that one – you know who you are!

Split up into 2 groups. The pax went around the circle. Pax will hold plank. Pax in the back will Burpee and bear crawl to the front. When we got to the fence we did 5 each leg Bulgarian squats. I will think about how I can improve this workout.

First Dora – Partner 1 jogs around the fence while Partner 2 starts on 100 Ground Pounders, 150 Tricep Extensions and 200 Curls all done with the rocks.

Second Dora – Partner 1 does 1 Rock Squat and then John Cusack to the second post, 2 rock squats, then John Cusack to the third post, 3 rock squats, then John Cusack to the 4th post, 4 rock squats, John Cusack back to the start while Partner 2 starts on 100 Merkins, 200 Squats and 300 Monkey Humpers in cadence.

4 HIMs posted to GP on a dry cool morning.  YHC brought the music box and joined Shredder at the entrance to Jones to cheer on the Classic runners assuming anyone posting would see us (not the case).  16-bit and Tetanus snuck past us and started the workout led by 16-bit.   Luckily I decided to get some rock work in anyway and ran into these two mid-workout.   

Warm Up: Who needs a warm up? (well turns out I did – hamstrings burning)

16-bit and Tetanus started without us and sounded like a good bit of rock work and crabwalks.

6 shots at the green, bear crawl to your disc and lunge walk back. (if you happen to make it,  no exercises are required crawls required).

6 shots to make it a dozen but add in exercises in-between throws (10×3 ct Squats, SSH, Emperial Walkers, LBCs, Freddie Mercuries, and Box Cutters)

Mosey to basketball court; Two rounds of knockout. Overhead clap while waiting in line. When knocked out, while waiting for the end of the game, Bobby Hurleys round one & WW I round two. Wilt Chamberlain modified (100 LBCs; 100 Squats; 100 low slow flutter)

Are you a Member of the Clergy?

Sometimes when an FNG shows up, you gotta ask, “are you a priest or pastor, or member of the clergy?” Because we’re about to talk about rock spanks with consent and without consent and pickle pounders, etc. Today’s FNG Abacus, was not a member of the clergy so we had the “all clear” to commence with the best mumblechatter in Southwake. YHC sought to set the stage for ridiculousness by introducing the Bag of Wrenches (about a 30lb. bag of wrenches, literally) that would accompany us on our short journey today.

Warm Up: Shredder got us started off with SSH x 15 IC as YHC got some extra gloves for our FNG. This was followed by Good Mornings x 20 IC, Imperial Walkers into Hillbillies x 15 IC, Hand Release Merkins x 20, Seal Claps x 10 IC, Overhead Claps x 10 IC, Donkey Kicks x 20 IC, Hand Release Merkins x 10, Good Mornings x 10 IC.
The Workout: Mosey over for some rock work as Shredder and Pumpkin Spice shared the load of Bag of Wrenches.

Circle of Rock

2 Rounds of each: Squats x15, Rut-Rows x15, Hand Release/Release Merkins x 10 IC, Curls for the Girls x15, Tricep Extension x15, Rock Spanks x15 IC, Chest Press x25, Shoulder Press x15.

The circle of rock continued except 4 PAX stepped up to do 25 Curls for the Girls with the Bag of Wrenches, while the rest of the circle did AMRAP Ground Pounders the entire time. PAX not Curling or Pounding were Planking.

Wall of Pain

Each PAX took a turn doing 25 Curls for the Girls with the Bag of Wrenches while the rest of the PAX alternated between BTTW and People’s Chair. With 13 fellas…this took awhile!

Mosey to the playground with Shredder and 3rd Cousin grabbing the bag to travel. When we got there, 4 different PAX stepped up to be our “wrench curlers” while all others did AMRAP step-ups. PAX not curling or stepping, were planking.

Mary: LBC’s x20 IC, Homer to Marge X 20 IC, WW1’s x 20, Pickle Pounders x20 IC, short mosey back to the flag for Donkey Kicks x 10 IC. I told these guys not to leave open spots on the Q Sheet!
